Our Services

At Healing Hands AB, our services are more than sessions — they are pathways to independence, strength, and lasting recovery. We believe patients should understand not only what treatments we provide, but also how those treatments help them achieve meaningful results.

Physiotherapy – The Heart of Your Care

Our physiotherapists start by listening to your story and performing a detailed assessment. This includes posture, movement, strength, flexibility, and any special tests needed. From there, we work with you to set clear goals: reduce pain, improve mobility, return to sport, or get back to work. Every treatment is backed by evidence and tailored to your needs. Treatment may include:
- Manual therapy and joint mobilizations
- Soft tissue techniques for pain and stiffness
- Shockwave, ultrasound, and TENS/IFC for targeted relief
- Heat or cold therapy when needed
- K-Taping and bracing for support
- Progressive exercise programs for strength and function

Active Healing with customized Exercise

We believe movement is medicine. Exercise is not just homework — it’s the bridge between what happens in the clinic and your long-term recovery. This approach not only speeds recovery but also empowers you to take ownership of your health.
- Home Exercise Plans: Each client receives a customized exercise plan, explained clearly, often with visual handouts or digital support.
- Goal Setting: We align each plan with your goals, whether lifting your grandchild, returning to construction work, or playing sports again.
- Progression of plan: Exercises evolve as you heal, building strength, endurance, balance, and confidence.
- Tracking your goals: We use outcome measures such as the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) for back pain, DASH/QuickDASH for arm/shoulder/hand, LEFS for lower extremity, and others to measure progress over time.

Kinesiology – Building Resilience

Our kinesiologists focus on restoring function through structured exercise and education. This is especially valuable for clients recovering from injury or preparing to return to work. kinesiology scope includes:
- Ergonomic coaching to protect your body at work
- Functional conditioning to prepare for daily and job-related demands
- Graded activity plans for gradual return-to-work and return-to-sport
- Performance training for those who want to move beyond recovery into higher function

Massage Therapy – Supporting Recovery

Massage is offered as a supportive therapy, complementing physiotherapy and kinesiology. It helps relieve tension, reduce pain, and improve circulation, which in turn supports faster recovery.
our services focus on:
- Therapeutic massage      - Sports massage        - Deep tissue massage
- Myofascial release

Interdisciplinary and Holistic Approach

Healing Hands AB provides care that looks at the whole person, not just the injured part. Our interdisciplinary model brings physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and massage therapists together in one plan. This approach ensures:
- Clear communication across your care team
- Smooth transition from acute pain relief to functional strength training
- Attention to both short-term comfort and long-term independence
- Integration of bracing and supportive devices when needed
- Planning for gradual return-to-work and safe reintegration into sport or daily activities
